2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon alum
1 teaspoon bakers ammonium carbonate powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1-1/4 cup room temperature water
3-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 quart vegetable oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
Mix salt, alum, ammonium, baking soda, and baking powder in a large bowl.

Knead the dough until not sticky. Then, place the dough onto a floured surface, roll it out into long logs, and coat it with oil.

Once the dough has rested and proofed cut logs into smaller bread sticks.
Heat oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, once the oil is hot then place dough sticks into the oil and fry for about 2 minutes on each side.
