Prep Time: 10-15 minutes

Cook Time: 15-20 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • Stuffing

    • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter

    • 2 leeks sliced thin

    • 1-1/2 cup buckwheat

    • Salt and Pepper to taste

    • 3-1/2 cups water

  • Salmon

    • 1 Whole Salmon, deboned

    • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted

    • 1 cup dry white wine

    • Salt and Pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS - Stuffing

  1. Heat up butter it large pan and add leaks to sauté.

  2. Stir in buckwheat and stir to get butter over all dry buckwheat.

  3. Add in water and simmer then cover for 10 minutes for buckwheat to cook. then set aside

DIRECTIONS - SAUCE

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Place salon on a foiled lined baking sheet and brush fish with butter then sprinkle salt and pepper on the outside.

  3. Open up the fish and place the leek stuffing inside. Make sure to mound it in there.

  4. Then close the salmon and pour wine into the pan to let salmon soak while cooking.

  5. Cook until done and garnish with some leeks if desired.

TIP: If you like cheese with your fish then add feta on top of the stuffing, it adds a special little touch to the finished dish.
